  • Vino Nobile di Montepulciano has a long history, with references dating back to the 8th century. It was highly regarded during the Renaissance and earned the nickname “the king of wines” by poet Francesco Redi in the 17th century.
  • Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is primarily made from the Sangiovese grape, locally known as Prugnolo Gentile.
