  • Valpolicella Ripasso DOC is located in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, just north of Verona.
  • The term “Ripasso” means “repassed” in Italian. The wine is made using a special technique where the base Valpolicella wine is refermented with the leftover grape skins and seeds from Amarone or Recioto production. This process enriches the wine, giving it more body, complexity, and flavour.
