  • Still Red Wine: 60%-80% Sangiovese + 20%-40% other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region (except Aleatico). Minimum ageing 36 months of which 12 months in oak for Superiore. Minimum 85% Sangiovese + maximum 15% other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region (except Aleatico) for monovarietal label.
  • Passito: minimum 50% Chardonnay + maximum 50% other white grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region (except Moscato Bianco).
