  • The production area for Moscato di Scanzo DOCG is limited to the small municipality of Scanzorosciate in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy. The unique terroir, with its hilly terrain and calcareous clay soils, contributes significantly to the wine’s distinctive character.
  • After harvesting, the grapes are dried for about 40 days using the appassimento method. This process concentrates the sugars and flavors in the grapes, which is crucial for developing the wine’s rich and sweet profile.
