  • Vin Santo: minimum 70% Trebbiano Toscano and/or Malvasia Bianca Lunga + maximum 30% other white grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.
  • Vin Santo Occhio di Pernice: 50%-70% Sangiovese + 30%-50% Malvasia Nera + maximum 30% other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.

  • The DOC is named after the Abbey of Sant’Antimo, a stunning Romanesque church and monastery dating back to the 9th century. The abbey is located just outside Montalcino, Tuscany, and has deep cultural and historical significance for the region.
