Minimum 50% Nero d’Avola and Perricone + the rest of made of other grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.
  • Still Rosato Wine: minimum 70% Nerello Mascalese and Perricone or Sangiovese + the rest of made of other grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.
  • Vendemmia tardiva: minimum 50% Catarratto and Inzolia + the rest of made of other grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region of which maximum 30% Trebbiano Toscano.

  • Monreale DOC is located in the northwestern part of Sicily, specifically in the province of Palermo. The region encompasses the hills around the town of Monreale, which is renowned for its beautiful Norman cathedral.
