  • Minutolo, an aromatic white grape variety, has been cultivated in Puglia since the 1200s, initially thought to be a subvariety of aromatic Fiano.
  • Presently, Minutolo thrives predominantly in the Valle d’Itria region within the province of Bari. Its versatility shines through as it lends itself to a spectrum of winemaking styles, from sparkling wines to luscious air-dried variations.

Minutolo wines evoke a closer resemblance to those crafted with Moscato Bianco rather than Moscato di Alessandria. They exude a refreshing and light-bodied character akin to the former, adorned with enchanting aromas of white flowers, ginger, and yellow fruits. Unlike wines derived from Moscato di Alessandria, Minutolo wines lack the oily richness and full-bodied texture, maintaining a distinctively crisp and vibrant profile.
