  • Official clones of Cornetta are not available, prompting quality-focused producers to select old massal selections for cultivation.
  • This grape is exclusive to the vicinity of Cannara in the province of Perugia.
  • Wines made from Cornetta grapes are invariably produced from air-dried grapes, enhancing their unique flavor profile.

Wines made with Cornetta grapes boast a vibrant, deep red hue and are characterized by enticing aromas and flavors of sweet red and black cherries. These delightful notes are further enriched by nuances of blackberry jam, cinnamon, and other sweet aromatic spices, lending complexity to the palate.

The finish is prolonged and refreshing, typically accompanied by a pronounced acidity and residual sugars of approximately 120 grams per liter.
