  • The Castel del Monte DOC is named after the famous medieval castle, Castel del Monte, built in the 13th century by Emperor Frederick II. This iconic castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an architectural masterpiece located in the Apulia region of southeastern Italy.
  • The vineyards are located in the hilly areas around the castle, at elevations ranging from 200 to 600 meters above sea level. The region’s limestone-rich soils, combined with the Mediterranean climate, create ideal conditions for grape growing.
