The wine often experiences significant reduction from malolactic fermentation until the following spring, before revealing floral and sour red cherry notes. It has a light to medium body, refreshing acidity, gentle tannins, and flavors of red berries and floral hints, with a pronounced saline tang. Available in dry nouveau styles as well as light, air-dried sweet variations.
