  • Barolo DOCG is located in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy, specifically in the hilly area known as the Langhe, around the villages of Barolo, La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d’Alba, and Monforte d’Alba.

  • The Langhe hills’ diverse terroir, with its calcareous clay soils and varying altitudes, influences the character of Barolo wines. Vineyards situated at higher altitudes produce wines with greater acidity and elegance, while lower-altitude vineyards yield more powerful and structured wines.
