  • Cortona DOC is a relatively young yet highly promising wine appellation in the Tuscany region of Italy. Known for its production of both indigenous and international grape varieties, the DOC is centered around the historic town of Cortona, located in the province of Arezzo.
  • One of the most notable features of Cortona DOC is its focus on Syrah, a grape more commonly associated with France’s Rhône Valley. Cortona has become one of the few places in Italy where Syrah thrives and is considered one of the best regions for this variety outside of France.
