- Carema DOC is a small, prestigious wine appellation located in the far northern reaches of Piedmont, Italy, close to the border with the Aosta Valley.
- Carema DOC is famous for producing Nebbiolo wines, but the style here is different from the more robust and tannic wines of Barolo and Barbaresco. The high-altitude vineyards (up to 700 meters) result in Nebbiolo wines that are lighter, more elegant, and often more delicate.
