  • Still Red Wine: minimum 85% Cabernet (Cabernet Franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Carmènere) or Carmènere or Merlot or Raboso Piave and/or Raboso Veronese + maximum 15% other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region. Minimum 50% Merlot + maximum 50% other red non-aromatic grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.

  • The Piave DOC region is situated in the provinces of Treviso and Venice in the Veneto region. It is named after the Piave River, which flows through the area, providing a vital source of water for the vineyards.
