Minimum 50% Chardonnay and/or  Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Grigio and/or Moscato Bianco and/or Falanghina and/or Montepulciano and/or Fiano and/or Malvasia Bianca Lunga + maximum 50% other grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.
  • Still White Wine: minimum 85% Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay or Falanghina or Fiano or Greco Bianco or Moscato Bianco or Sauvignon Blanc or Trebbiano Toscano + maximum 15% other white grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region for monovarietal label.
  • Still Red Wine: minimum 85% Montepulciano + maximum 15% other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region. Minimum 85% Aglianico or Cabernet Sauvignon or Sangiovese or Merlot or Pinot Nero or + maximum 15% other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region for monovarietal label with minimum ageing of 24 months of which – 6 in the oak.
  • Still Rosato Wine: minimum 85% Montepulciano + maximum 15% other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.

  • Molise DOC is located in the Molise region of southern Italy, which is one of the smallest and least known wine regions in the country. The vineyards are spread across the provinces of Campobasso and Isernia.
