Minimum 40% Sangiovese + 30% Ciliegiolo and/or Gamay and/or Merlot and/or Cabernet Sauvignon + maximum 30% of other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region. Minimum 50% Pinot Nero + minimum 50% Chardonnay and/or Pinot Bianco. 
  • Still White Wine: minimum 85% Grechetto or Vermentino or Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio or Pinot Bianco or Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling Italico + maximum 15% of other white grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region for monovarietal label. Minimum 40% Trebbiano Toscano + minimum 30% Grechetto and/or Chardonnay and/or Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Grigio + maximum 30% of other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.
  • Still Red Wine: minimum 85% Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon or Gamay del Trasimeno + maximum 15% of other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region for monovarietal label. Minimum 40% Sangiovese + 30% Ciliegiolo and/or Gamay and/or Merlot and/or Cabernet Sauvignon + maximum 30% of other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.
  • Still Rosato Wine: minimum 40% Sangiovese + 30% Ciliegiolo and/or Gamay and/or Merlot and/or Cabernet Sauvignon + maximum 30% of other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.
  • Vin Santo: minimum 40% Trebbiano Toscano + minimum 30% Grechetto and/or Chardonnay and/or Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Grigio + maximum 30% of other red grape varieties allowed for cultivation in the region.

  • Colli di Trasimeno DOC is situated in the hills surrounding Lake Trasimeno, the fourth largest lake in Italy, located in the province of Perugia in Umbria. The vineyards benefit from the moderating influence of the lake and the diverse microclimates of the hilly terrain.
