- Ramandolo DOCG is made exclusively from the Verduzzo Friulano grape variety. This grape is known for its thick skins, which contribute to the wine’s concentration of flavors and sweetness.
- Ramandolo DOCG is a “passito” wine, which means that the grapes are dried after harvest to concentrate their sugars and flavours. This traditional method involves drying the grapes on racks or straw mats for several weeks before pressing.
- The Ramandolo DOCG production area is located in the hilly region of Colli Orientali del Friuli, specifically in the municipalities of Nimis, Tarcento, and Povoletto. The vineyards benefit from a favorable climate and well-drained soils, ideal for grape cultivation.
