  • Picolit grapes are difficult to grow and are susceptible to diseases and pests, resulting in limited production quantities.
  • The Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit DOCG production zone is located in the eastern hills of Friuli, benefiting from a favourable climate influenced by the nearby Adriatic Sea and the protection of the Alps to the north. This microclimate contributes to the wine’s unique terroir.
  • The Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit Ciallia DOCG – is a so called “cru” area and these wines are 100% Picolit.
